Cavendish Trade Supplies recruits well established and reputable Distributors to offer for sale its highly successful range of innovative mobility products on a local basis throughout the UK. We truly believe that our clients deserve more than just great products, as the aftersales care and personal touch mean so much more than the service given by the larger impersonal internet based companies.
The wealth of experience accrued by all members is undoubtedly impressive, as is its enthusiasm to offer valued clients real alternatives to the usual mobility product readily available by inexperienced shops/ internet sites.
With the introduction of the new legislation in Consumer Rights, there has never been a better time to ensure that clients are fully assessed and that you, as a business owner, deliver the most comprehensive and compliant service. Therefore, being a part of, and actively participating in, an Independent Network will bring many benefits and advantages:
Business Protocol and Compliance:
Deciphering “legal speak” and understanding the implications of new legislation can be daunting as perception can lead to miss-communication. Trade associations offer advice but sometimes applying that to a real life situation or in practice, can be more difficult. In this instance, other members may be able to suggest solutions – two heads are better than one!
Reciprocal Referrals:
Many of our members have niche or specialist products / services which they independently promote within their territory; these may be of interest to other network members. Examples may be larger ticket items including: wheelchair accessible vehicles, scooter hoists, tracking hoists or high-end prescriptive wheelchairs. Based on a reciprocal referral basis these services could be expanded across the network.
Additional business can also be generated by repairs & servicing if a client needs assistance while elsewhere in the UK for example: on holiday.
Our sister companies: Mobility At Sea, Renta Scoota and Cavendish Healthcare have built extremely successful stand-alone businesses that are based on a rental model that compliments existing sales, and we would welcome the opportunity to share our expertise and extend the services provided.
Network Forum
Communication is the key to success so we will be introducing a forum in which all members will be able to seek advice, share ideas or gain information on products /services.
Parts, Second-hand Products and Demonstrations
Many members have accumulated a large stock of parts, spares, and second-hand scooters. The network can be utilised to sell, buy or exchange these and also possibly loan a particular scooter / power chair for a one- off demonstration.
Marketing
Using the network could mean that members share the cost for publications...
Marketing and Advertising can very often be the last job you want to do, yet it is one of the most important. Every member will know what works for them in their territory, even if they sometimes don’t get the time to focus on it.
In addition to any national advertising campaigns, using the network could mean that members share the cost for publications for example: adjoining territories -members could co-host or co-exhibit to share the costs and the workload, meaning that a greater target audience is reached, and more enquiries are generated.
Artwork can be shared or utilised, and printing costs can be considerably reduced to get the most out of your budgets and maximise your profitability.
